Best Review of PasarBella Suntec (2023)

Off goes the gang to Suntec today. Leggings to procure for Amy and I need to book a cooking class at Totts. So, let’s have a rummage around, and then I need to complete some more video footage for Kilo Under Pressure. We arrived at lunch, so off we go straight away to PasarBella Suntec.

I like it PasarBella Suntec. We ate loads today, the same as we did the last time we were here. But I am going to call out two dishes only today. One from Wolf Burgers and one from An An Vietnamese Restaurant. These are damned fine. Top drawer, truly they were. What did we eat?

What does PasarBella Suntec have to say for themselves?

A gourmet food hall, inspired from the streets of Lower East Side, New York City - with street art illustration, graffitied walls and fuss-free meals-to-go.

An An Vietnamese PasarBella Suntec Review

Oh yeah, baby. a thing of beauty!!!

I tell you what An An you guys rock. This was an amazing Pho Bo. This gave me memories flooding back to me of sitting in Hanoi supping soup and watching the world go by. Thank you for that. Truly an amazing Pho, and for $10, an absolute bargain too.

Wolf Burgers PasarBella Suntec Review

I have eaten before from Wolf Burger‘s, as you may have seen. Today I was also in the burger zone but did not fancy the sweet onions these guys use. When I stated that and asked for additional cheese instead, the server said; “Hey Sir why not try the Alpha Burger then?” Roger that. So so glad I did. Look at this beast. Two patties of beautiful ground beef, cooked to medium. Juicy, juicy, beefy goodness, topped with course Cheddar cheese. OMG. Add to that some truffle fries and you’ll be in heaven folks. Boomski!!!

What is Vietnamese cuisine?

In recent years, there has been a rise in the number of people all over the world who eat Vietnamese food due to the country’s cuisine’s impressive depth and breadth of variety. It is famous for having flavors that are both fresh and lively, with an emphasis on different spices, fresh herbs, and a range of different textures. The following are a few of the highlights of Vietnamese cuisine, as well as reasons why one should consider discovering it.

Pho, a savory noodle soup that can be made with either beef or chicken broth, rice noodles, herbs, and spices, is considered to be one of the most iconic Vietnamese foods. It is common practice to simmer the broth for several hours with bones, bone marrow, ginger, and various other aromatics, which imparts a rich and nuanced flavor to the finished product. Following the addition of the noodles, slices of pork, bean sprouts, and any other toppings that may be desired, a dinner that is both hearty and gratifying are created.

Banh Mi

Banh mi is a sort of sandwich that is famous in Vietnam and is created with a crusty baguette, meat or tofu, pickled vegetables, herbs, and sauces. It is one of the most well-known dishes in Vietnam. The fillings can be anything from grilled pork, chicken, or beef to pate, mayonnaise, and hot peppers. The end product is a delectable mixture of flavors and textures, with the right amount of sweetness, saltiness, sourness, and heat throughout the dish.

Goi Cuon

Fresh spring rolls, also known as goi cuon, are an appetizer that is light and refreshing. They are produced by rolling rice paper, vermicelli noodles, herbs, and vegetables together. The contents can consist of shrimp, pork, tofu, or a combination of all three, and they are typically served with a peanut sauce or a dipping sauce that is based on hoisin. The rolls are perfect for breaking the ice at the beginning of a meal, or for enjoying as a refreshing snack on a warm day.

Bun Cha

The traditional Vietnamese cuisine known as bun cha is prepared with grilled pork, rice noodles, herbs, and a dipping sauce that combines sweet and salty flavors. Before being grilled over an open flame, the pig is first marinated in a mixture of fish sauce, sugar, and spices. This gives the pork a flavor that is both smokey and slightly caramelized. After that, the pork is placed on top of the noodles, and they are served with a variety of herbs, lettuce, and bean sprouts on the side.

Com Tam

Com tam, also known as broken rice, is a well-liked dish in Vietnam that is typically consumed for either breakfast or lunch. It is prepared with broken grains of rice, which are historically regarded as being of poorer quality, but when correctly cooked, they can still be rather delicious. Rice is traditionally served with pork that has been grilled, a fried egg, and a selection of pickled vegetables, herbs, and vegetables.

These are just a few instances of the many mouthwatering dishes that are included in the repertoire of Vietnamese chefs.
