The food of Lola J Kusinang Pinoy Restaurant

Filipino Corned Beef with Potato

Not in the Food Panda menu which is such as shame as this is one hell of a dish. One of my favourite Lola dishes in fact. This is just incredible, even more incredible when washed down with an icy cold San Miguel Pilsen. This is a must-try when you come here.

Sisig

I can’t find this on the menu from Food Panda so can’t share with you the price. This is a classic Filipino dish. Pig face, with chili, lime, and so on, served on a piping hot skillet, with egg and Calamansi. Warning: Lola’s is super-spicy!!!

Bulalo

@ $ 35

Chef recommendation. Beef bone marrow with beef shank soup. What a cracking Bulalo this was. Easily enough for four PAX so a bargain. Massively beefy flavour, fall-apart beef shank, and monster globules of that unctuous bone marrow. A stellar version of this classic Filipino dish.

Lechon Kawali

Chef recommendation. Crispy pork belly. You have this with Filipino Native Sauce, which is a mix of vinegar, soy, chili, and Calamansi. 1000% You have to have a San Miguel Pilsen when eating this dish, as this is beer food and some.
