Mosa Restaurant Bohol Review: Table of Contents
MOSA Restaurant Bohol has two ‘sisters’, on Panglao. Likewise just so flipping UBER-COOL: MIST Bohol, and MOLLY’s Bohol. I am yet to write up Molly’s Bohol, but I will commit to it very soon. MIST Bohol is also among ISLIFEARECIPE’s Best Restaurants in Bohol.

Guests typically spend around 1 to 2 hours at MOSA Restaurant Bohol enjoying their meals and the ambiance, whereas we spent like three hours having family fun as we grazed and people-watched in this best restaurants in Bohol.
Things to be aware of:
- There are no bookings at Mosa Restaurant Bohol, so prepare to wait. We grabbed a seat at the bar and had a few scoops as we waited. It’s beautiful so hardly a chore: as you can see from my nine-year-old below,
- There is nothing else around it, so don’t expect to walk there from the buzzing Alona area, or exit lunch/dinner and pop next door to do something else. It’s quite isolated.
- MOSA Restaurant Bohol now accepts cash and credit cards, so ignore any other messaging of cash-only.

Mosa Restaurant Chimi and Polo.
Two Mediterranean-inspired roast chickens, with roasted root veggies.
PHP 899: ~ USD $16.10
Simply delicious. I love the concept of two flavours and two sauces with this MOSA dish. One was very Mediterranean (on the left) and the other very much curry flavoured, akin to a Coronation Chicken Curry. Spanking. Super-moist too. Really good, and highly recommended by ISLIFEARECIPE.net.
Mosa Restaurant: Golden Pot Roast.
Slow-cooked beef plate, marinated with herbs and served with roasted roots and mashed beetroot.
PHP 599: ~ USD $10.74 (BARGAIN!!!)
Yeah, this was good. Although one little complaint, a little dry, just a little. Still very tasty, and with that beetroot puree and some rock salt (yes it needed seasoning) was killer. Plus, I love the gold leaf touch on the top – food theatre on steroids.
Mosa Restaurant: CaveMan Steak.
Slow-cooked oven-grilled beef shank, with truffle and wild mushroom cream. Served with grilled corn and mushrooms.
PHP 999: ~ USD $17.90
Yeah, this one I missed out on. But the feedback wasn’t massively positive from the Wife and kids: very chewy with lots of silver skin ( which is impossible to eat). The flavour was good though, as in the truffle sauce, especially with some of the bone marrow. Maybe we’d give this one a miss next time.
Mosa Restaurant: Calzone Bites.
Calzone bread filled with beef and spices with Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese inside.
PHP 325: ~ USD $5.83
WOOF!!! My absolute favourite today. These are up there with the very best Empanadas I have ever eaten. The pastry was killer, crunchy, and chewy all in one with a lovely salty overtone. This is the must-try here. Incredible food. #BeProudMosa
Mosa Restaurant: Quatro Bruschetta.
A slice of bread toasted in the oven or grilled often rubbed with garlic and topped with extra virgin olive oil, tomatoes, and salt in four different flavours.
PHP 325: USD $5.82
Sorry guys another bit of a miss for me. It sort of tasted like cheap Hawaiin Pizza. I kind of didn’t get it, or I missed the point altogether sorry… Now, some toasted Anchovies with this would have been killer, to add some saltiness, depth, and umami. Just sayin’: Have a look HERE
Mosa Restaurant: Orange Bubbly.
Orange juice, Kiwi jam, lemon soda, Calamansi, lemon syrup, garnished with an orange ice pop.
PHP 219: ~ USD $3.92
Mosa Restaurant: Bear-Y Bliss Smoothie.
Comes with mango and strawberry jam flavour fresh milk, and fructose, topped with diced mango fruit, mango boba, and mango bear.
PHP 258: ~ USD $4.62
