Aburi-EN VivoCity Review: Islifearecipe.net finally visited and sampled the food.
Aburi-EN is a Japanese restaurant that specializes in aburi, which refers to partially grilled meat. They offer a variety of high-quality donburi (rice bowls) using premium ingredients from Japan. The restaurant is known for its flavorful and delicious dishes that feature partially grilled meats, giving them a unique smoky and charred flavor.
Aburi-EN has multiple outlets in Singapore, including locations at Changi City Point, Nex, and Suntec City., and of course the branch at Vivocity. They provide dine-in, takeaway, and delivery services, allowing customers to enjoy their meals in the way that suits them best. The restaurant offers a comfortable and inviting dining experience, making it a popular choice for Japanese cuisine lovers in Singapore. And today, Islifearecipe.net is hitting them hard!!!
But, my main focus today is that I have heard that Aburi-EN also serves a fine selection of Japanese Wagyu. My conclusions of lunch at Aburi-EN Vivocity are nothing but complementary, awe and disappointment. Disappointment because I have never eaten here before, something that will not happen again. The Japanese Wagyu is top-class, cooked to perfection, and so so reasonable on the $$$. It’s exceptional value for some of the best Japanese Wagyu I have had in Singapore. This is a MUST-VISIT, this is Aburi-EN VivoCity.
How many times have I walked past this place and never popped in to dine. Today, this was fixed finally, and I am so very glad we did resolve that. What an absolutely spanking, top-grade lunch this was at VivoCity. Absolutely in the Best Restaurants at VivoCity category, and some.
This is where the magic happens. The meat and fish charcoal grills. I could have watched the Chef all day practicing his craft. Especially when charring those Wagyu Steaks and Iberico Pork Jowls to BBQ perfection.
I even love the interior. Very Japanese classic-basic. Loving the pig lights too. Come on let’s get some Japanese BBQ Wagyu, please…
Miyazaki Wagyu Udon @ $18++
Wifey and Jude Jude went for this bad boy and loved every single bit of it. These are big bowls, believe me, and both were slurped clean. A great sign of Udon perfection. But, also, just to call out. Check out that Japanese Wagyu sliced up in there: and this is priced at $18… BARGAIN!!! Inaniwa Udon With Miyazaki Wagyu Beef Slices.
Miyazaki Wagyu Tartare @ $15++
I mean, seriously, Japanese Wagyu and Caviar for $15. ANOTHER BARGAIN. This dish threw me off completely. I tried the tartare alone and found it majorly over-sweet. Actually, unedible to me. But then I got a little of the Wasabi Cream mixed in and KAPOW it became a completely new dish. A stunner in fact. My Jude and I devoured this. It’s just incredible food being offered up here. A4-A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Tartare, Topped With Caviar and Served With Seaweed Chips.
Miyazaki Wagyu Steak @ $32++
Absolutely saving the best to last. This was heavenly. Perfectly medium-rare, with that ‘snap’ that only Japanese Wagyu has. Simply served as charred on the BBQ with some salt and Wasabi on the side. This is some of the best Japanese Wagyu I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot. This is your MUST-BUY, again so AMAZINGLY CHEAP. An absolute quality meat dish. 90g A4-A5 Miyazaki Sirloin Wagyu Steak. Heavenly Steak!!!
