Thailand Trip 2016 Day 2

Another day, another blog. Here comes Thailand Trip 2016 Day 2 for The Semi-Naked Chef and Friends, now New Year’s Eve for 2015. A very special day as this is also the birthday of my great mate Andy. He turns to the big 50 at midnight tonight. So it was a day sitting around the pool playing with the kids, a few beers, some light lunch and then the Centara Karon Resort Hotel gala New Year Eve dinner and entertainment. A small surprise at the end too.

Thailand Trip 2016 Day 2 — I finally get my chili fix – the Thai pork egg fried rice for breakfast laced with chili padi, fish sauce, soy sauce and garlic – oh yeah baby what a breakfast this was – a side of bacon, paprika potatoes and garlic/cheese tomatoes – fit for a king!!!

Thailand Trip 2016 Day 2 — Kids playground for Amy – that swing took a beating I can tell you

Thailand Trip 2016 Day 2 — A new Semi-Naked Chef in the making perhaps? Baby Jude spending hours in the kitchen in the kids club. What you making Jude?”, “Foie gras and black truffle omelet Dad…” NICE!!!

Thailand Trip 2016 Day 2 — It’s gala party time, woo hoo. Believe it or not this was the carpark and pull in to the hotel for arrivals and departures – what a transformation

Thailand Trip 2016 Day 2 — I knew we’d see an elephant in Thailand at some point. This one is amazing standing on his hind legs. Baby Jude’s new bestest mate (and Mary come to that ha ha).

Thailand Trip 2016 Day 2 — And here is the surprise – Amy is dancing with her mates and they all get invited on the stage to dance – but it’s not finished yet…

Because then Amy decides she is going to sing – and boy did she sing, check the video.

Oh yeah and don’t forget about the fireworks – WOW. What an absolutely top Thailand Trip 2016 Day 2.

So there you have it another amazing day to report in the beautiful Karon, and our Thailand Trip 2016 Day 2. Such fun was had at the wonderful Centara Karon Resort Hotel with friends and family. Proud moments with Amy singing. Bum burning moments as I finally managed to get my chili fix. Fun in the beautiful pools and entertainment galore at the NYE festivities. Truly such fun. You should try one day. This is such a great place. ENJOY!!!
