Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill Tripadvisor and Google Reviews: What People Are Saying
Islifearecipe.net is giving Steak & Grill a 3.0 out of 5. We nearly walked out, and sorry but in F&B that is unacceptable. Also, the complete ignoring of our Facebook Messenger reach out: the chosen comms channel by the restaurant is also unacceptable. The food was OK, some not bad at all. Would we go again? Certainly not with a large crowd if they don’t respond to my Facebook Messenger.
Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill has received mixed reviews on platforms like Google 3.9 out of 5. While many guests praise the flavours and portion sizes, some have noted areas where the restaurant could improve. TripAdvisor doesn’t have any reviews, or placements in Best Restaurants in Tagbilaran yet, and I saw no TripAdvisor QR codes to leave reviews in the restaurant.
One Google Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill Review mentioned, “They don’t have dry aged. Neither have the biggest size Brazilian steak. I had to go for the medium-sized Brazilian steak – it was quite good. My friend tried to order the same right after me. They didn’t have the side dishes coming with the steak.”
Some diners have commented on inconsistencies in the tenderness of the steak. Google reviewers wrote, “Takes time to serve food. Steak was tough. Pork belly was Ok. Staff was friendly and attentive.”
Another said: “Used to eat here before the renovation….that being said…it is really nothing special unfortunately….steak is chewy, way too fatty….mashed potatoes remind of a all in one in the pack supermarket mix instead of fresh….Value for the money is not worth it. Hopefully, they can turn it around and improve, take criticism and make it better. too bad…”
Despite these critiques, many agree that the casual vibe and Western menu make Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill Tagbilaran worth a visit if that’s what you’re after, particularly for those who desire grilled meats Western-style, as we did this day.
Drunk Skillet Tagbilran Service: Warm and Attentive
Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill staff were friendly and attentive, once they agreed we could eat in the restaurant and re-organise some chairs. From the moment we finally sat down, we were then greeted with smiles and a willingness to assist. Orders were taken efficiently for a big group, and the staff were happy to explain menu items. The staff did indeed create an overall enjoyable dining experience.
Let’s get to the niggles, and one that super annoyed me on the day as we were 16 pax. They were willing to turn us away because they would not move tables together to be like the photo above: stating that there would not be enough room to move behind, which I called BS on, and they finally succumbed.
When I open my restaurant I will be doing everything and anything to get customers in the door, not turning away 16 pax for the slightest of inconveniences to the restaurant layout for a single serving…
Another niggle, hence only giving 3 out of 5 in our review, was that I had sent a Facebook Messenger in advance to advise we were coming, and to ask to book a table for 16 pax: this got completely ignored by the restaurant. The server passed the blame to the owners… That’s not good in F&B, especially when you have just opened.
Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill Menu, Tagbilaran
Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill Menu is not yet on the interweb, so I revert to ‘old-skool’ methods of adding photos here for you.
The Drunk Skillet Steak and Grill Menu: Grilled Favorites with a Local Twist: focuses heavily on grilled meats, hearty fair, and a few fusion dishes thrown in there. The restaurant’s signature dishes revolve around well-seasoned meats cooked on the grill.
For seafood lovers, the grilled tuna is another highlight. The fish is grilled to tender perfection, served with a side of atchara (pickled papaya) and steamed rice. The slight char from the grill adds depth to the dish, while the atchara brings a refreshing tang that cuts through the richness of the tuna: Wifey loved this. Pork enthusiasts will appreciate the grilled pork belly, which is marinated and cooked to achieve a smoky, flavorful finish. It’s served with traditional sides, and hung on skewers from a frame: uber-cool.
What I will BIG them up for is their pricing. Quite amazing pricing it has to be said. We walked away with a big smile when we paid the bill for 16 pax. Great job on that Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill: SUPER-AFFORDABLE.

Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill: What did we eat today
Tuna Panga: Drunk Skillet Tagbilaran
Charred tuna panga (cheek portion) seasoned with soy basting served with plain rice and homemade pickled papaya on the sides. @ PHP 270. Wifey gave this a massive thumbs up and that is BIG accolade Drunk Skillet: great job to the Chef and crew. She loved the umami flavours, and said it was so very juicy and charred to perfection: BOOMSKI!!!
French Onion Soup: Drunk Skillet Review
Caramelized onions in a rich broth, topped with a golden layer of melted mozzarella cheese over a slice of toasted multi-grain loaf. @ PHP 200. I had this. It’s not the best I have ever bad, but it is far far far from the worst (Sherwood Resort Panglao). I finished it all up, and I kind of digged it. I’d have this again for sure: great effort.
Tantanmen Ramen from Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill Tagbilaran
Spicy sesame broth, tender egg noodles, savoury ground pork, topped with Tamago, fresh greens & a hint of chilli oil. @ PHP 300. Another great effort from Drunk Killet Tagbilaran. This bad boy was flying off the spoons of those who ordered it, with rave reviews of the super-umami. broth that was killing it. Great job to the Chef and crew, again!!!
Truffle and Cheese Flat Bread Pizza: Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill Review
A mix of salsa al Tartufo, creamy mozzarella, nutty fontal and savoury Parmigiano served with honey on the sides. @ PHP 385. OK, Chef, this was a beauty. I nearly ordered a second of these. Everyone got stuck into this bad boy and gave it a huge thumbs up. Seriously good, and yep, I’d have this every time I return: Top tip, add their hot sauce to this to take her up even another level. Delicious!!!

- 301-350 GRAMS @ PHP 1850
- 351-400 GRAMS @ PHP 2050
- 401-450 GRAMS @ PHP 2250
OK, good on the price, but… Sorry guys, your name is Steak and Grill, but, it doesn’t look like this steak has seen the grill. A little ‘anaemic’. There is no grill-charring of any description: it’s not even melting the butter. Cooked ‘ok’ to medium-rare-ish, but lacked seasoning: guys just char this bad boy a little on the grill and sprinkle some sea salt: It will be 1000% times better!!!
Pork BBQ: Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill Review
Pork barbecue marinated in savoury spices served with steamed rice. @ PHP 250. I love the serving technique, and I love the char on those skewers, now that has seen a grill that now has massive flavours and texture on it. Great job. Perhaps get your Pork BBQ guy to do the steaks, and slap them on the same grill for that colour and flavour enhancement. Pork BBQ gets a great big thumbs up: love it.
Drunk Skillet Steak and Grill Review: Final thoughts

It’s a perfect drop-in for anyone who loves grilled meats, seafood, some fusion options and a laid-back vibe. The menu focuses on hearty, flavourful dishes whether you’re in the mood for steak, seafood, or pork belly.
If you’re in Tagbilaran and want to visit a local dining spot with a pretty good menu, good flavours and a welcoming atmosphere, Drunk Skillet Steak & Grill is worth considering. With its friendly service and focus on grilled dishes, it’s a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. While there’s room for improvement in some areas, the overall experience is one of comfort, flavour, and good food. We had fun for our family meal: once we sorted the seating issue out.
Also, if it wasn’t raining so heavily, we would have popped to the seafront, had some cocktails, and watched the sunsets at Becca. This is another good thing about Drunk Skillet, there is that awesome bar, with stunning views, a 1-minute walk behind it, door-to-door. ENJOY!!!
