Charcuterie ‘w’ Raclette Cheese
A rather lazy and easy one after yesterday’s food delivery shenanigans. I needed a break and we were too late to order for lunch. Luckily I had done a shop the day before when we gained our Freedom to leave the condo. Going to Cold Storage was like going to The Maldives. Amazing scenery, people and food. So my lazy effort today is more a concept than a recipe. But one that the whole family loved and chowed down on with gusto and enjoyment. #familydishesrule Here is ChillaxBBQ Stay@Home Recipes #16, AKA Charcuterie ‘w’ Raclette Cheese. Extremely easy to do, but looks amazing and all restaurant-like. I love my new serving platters.
It’s so easy folks. Just buy a good selection of hams, salamis, and cured sausages and the like. Slice them really think like in the photo, or buy them already sliced in the packet of course. Arrange them all lovely on your serving platter like below. I also added some salted and peppered tomatoes and some toasted bread for a different flavour and some additional textures to ChillaxBBQ Stay@Home Recipes #16.
In parallel to this, I had bought a packet of Raclette cheese. Cut the rind off off the cheese. Pop a little roasting tin on the hob on a low heat and add the cheese. Keep an eye on it and it should gradually melt into one gorgeous fondue-like cheesy bath of gooey goodness. Serve it up straight away. with the charcuterie because your cheese dipping utensils are those slices of meat folks. Like a dick, I forgot to take a photo of the Raclette – but you will see it in the last photo, with Wifey digging in.
