Pink Salt Danang Review
Pink Salt Restaurant Danang Review: In the bustling heart of Da Nang right near the beach and down a side street, in Vietnam, Pink Salt Restaurant has swiftly emerged as a chic uber-cool premier dining destination, captivating both locals and tourists alike. Situated at 79 Hà Bổng, this establishment offers a harmonious blend of modern elegance and dining excellence, making it a standout choice for those seeking a memorable foodie experience when in Vietnam.
Strategically located near the serene beaches, within walking distance from our hotel The Pullman Beach Resort, and the iconic Dragon Bridge, Pink Salt provides diners with a truly cool setting that enhances the overall dining ambience. The restaurant’s interior exudes a contemporary yet cosy atmosphere, featuring tasteful décor and comfortable seating arrangements. It’s like urban-chic, you could be sitting in some cool New York suburb.
This thoughtful design creates an inviting space, ideal for both casual gatherings and special occasions: Jude’s 11th birthday dinner for us. With a menu that showcases fresh seafood, succulent steaks, and a variety of international dishes, Pink Salt caters to a diverse array of tastes and diets, ensuring that every guest finds something to delight their taste mouth, eyes and noses here.
Ambience and Location of Pink Salt Restaurant Da Nang
Pink Salt Restaurant has swiftly become a distinguished dining destination. They have exquisite plating from the a la carte menu offerings, which are extensive, but then also a series of huge platters from seafood, and oysters, to surf and turf. These guys are knocking it out of the park.
It’s one road behind the main road that runs along the massively long beach of Da Nang. We walked there from our hotel to experience the local neighbourhood, and you then came across this concrete minimalistic frontage of the resto, and when you walk in you’re greeted by this uber-cool chic. It’s just so very, very damned cool.

Pink Salt Danang Menu
Pink Salt’s menu is a testament to its commitment to quality and variety. Specializing in fresh seafood and premium steaks, the restaurant offers a range of dishes that showcase the culinary team’s expertise. One of the standout offerings is the Pink Salt Platter, a generous assortment of seasonal grilled seafood, including oysters with cheese, grilled prawns, and Alaskan lobster. This platter is designed for sharing, making it an excellent choice for groups seeking a communal dining experience.
For pasta enthusiasts, the Seafood Spaghetti in Cream Sauce combines al dente pasta with a medley of fresh seafood, enveloped in a rich and creamy sauce that is both indulgent and satisfying. Another notable dish is the Spicy Cream Sauce Pasta, featuring tender squid and beans tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce that offers a delightful kick.
BREAD & SAUCE – OLIVE OIL & BALSAMIC
Bread served with olive oil & balsamic. Yes, I am reviewing bread, as this needs a call-out. It was warm, and so very savoury, like a rye bread. With that olive oil and balsamic, this was a bready heavenly moment. Simply delicious.
Pink Salt's Fresh Salmon Ponzu @ 350,000 VND, aka SGD $18.50
The perfect combination of fresh salmon and Ponzu sauce – a traditional sweet and tangy Japanese sauce. Served with thinly sliced onions, pickled ginger, and wasabi. Ideal for a light appetizer.
They have a liking for citrus with clearly a Japanese twist at Pink Salt and I love that fusion, This salmon dish is plated so beautifully, and that citrus zing of the ponzu sauce, and sour from the capers is a match made in heaven. Stunning dish.
PinkSalt Steak Ponzu @ 450,000 VND, aka SGD $23.80
The perfect combination of Ponzu sauce – a traditional sweet and tangy Japanese sauce. Served with thinly sliced onions, pink ginger, and wasabi. Ideal for light appetizers.
I tell you this was crazy good. Melt-in-the-mouth steak, so tender it was like butter melting in your gob. Super savoury, with perfect seasoning. Then again that citrus hit from the ponzu and the sour from the capers. This is a WOW starter and a must-try. BOOMSKI!!!
PinkSalt's Grilled Cabbage Salad @ 180,000 VND, aka SGD $9.50
Grilled cabbage salad is a dish that combines the natural sweetness of grilled cabbage, with ingredients such as cheese, olives, and bacon.
Stop the Vietnam bus, you have to get off at THIS food stop. My goodness gracious me. I saw this on the menu, and being a cabbage lover I had to order it: and boy oh boy I am so happy I did as this was simply stellar. What an absolutely incredible cabbage dish. WOOF!!!
It’s charred, it’s salty, it’s savoury, it has textures, and it looks beautiful when plated. It has a lot going for it and this thing will attack your senses from sight to smell to taste. Please order this and tell me what you think of it. This was a highlight of our dinner, a real surprise.
Pink Salt Restaurant's Cheese Octopus Salad @ 180,000 VND, aka SGD $9.50
Octopus Salad is a combination of finely chopped vegetables and steamed octopus, served with a rich and sweet Pesto sauce that complements the flavour of the octopus.
I think this one completely confused the girls, despite them actually being the ones who reviewed it and chose it. I think the cheese was a tad overwhelming, like a bucket of it over the octopus. Maybe some less is more strategy needed with this one? They liked the octopus but felt it was overpowered by so much cheese.
PinkSalt Restaurant Ribeye Steak @ 1,100,00 VND, aka SGD $58.20
Ribeye utilizes the meat from the back area of the cow, tender with a blend of muscle and fat, hence it tends to be slightly firmer than striploin steak. Served with grilled vegetables and beef sauce.
A cracking steak. Cooked to an awesome medium-rare and Pink2Pink Perfection. Beautiful with just some cracked sea salt, but also quite amazing with the three sauces – my favourite was the chimichurri, but hey I am a salty, savoury guy. The chimi was a cracker, so with that mightily beefy steak, they were a marriage made in heaven. Yep, PinkSalt great job. A wonderful steak: and believe me, we are picky when it comes to steak. Great job!!!
Pink Salt's Lamb Steak @ 650,000 VND, aka SGD $34.40
Lamb steak is a dish made from carefully seasoned and grilled lamb meat, often served with beef sauce and chimichurri sauce. This dish typically carries the rich flavour of lamb, combined with the savoury taste of beef sauce and the refreshing, slightly sweet flavour of chimichurri sauce.
OK, Wifey decided to cremate the lamb, but I tried a little and it was so very flavourful despite her demanded over-cooking. Then, add a little of that chimi and KAPOW it gets uplifted to lamby heady heights… Beautifully plated again, crazily good taste, and some wicked sides too.
Pink Salt Danang Platter
I am stealing this from the Pink Salt’s web page, as I think it deserves a call out. Like we do at Islifearecipe and ChillaxBBQ, Pink Salt does platters, and does them very well. I have to share this one as it is bonkers good, perhaps next time we’re back we have this and review it as a standalone…

At 2,450,00 VND, or SGD $130 it’s a bargain. Let me now hand you over to Pink Salt themselves to give a rundown of this most amazing platter.
This serving is enough for 3 to 4 people. It includes seasonal grilled seafood such as cheese-baked oysters, grilled shrimp, and Alaska lobster. It also features smoked salmon, steak, stir-fried beef with vegetables, and grilled sausages. The platter comes with vegetables like corn, potatoes, and long cauliflower, as well as accompaniments such as green olives, black olives, garlic bread, and various sauces.
With just one order, you can enjoy a variety of small dishes. The Pink Salt Platter takes about 30-45 minutes to prepare and cook. They would be delighted if you could order it in advance before your arrival. It would help them greatly and ensure you don’t have to wait long when you get here.
Pink Salt Restaurant Da Nang TripAdvisor and Reviews
Islifearecipe.net is giving Pink Salt a solid 4.5 out of 5, the octopus and cheese sort of skewed the scales a little as the girls were completely confused by that one. I’d give 5 out of 5 just for the cabbage dish, which was magical, and the steak starter with ponzu also deserves a major call-out.
In the public domain, the acclaim for Pink Salt Restaurant Danang is reflected in its impressive ratings. With over 900 reviews and a high ranking among Da Nang’s best dining establishments, it’s clear that the restaurant has made a significant impact on both locals and tourists.
One reviewer praised the generous portions and attentive staff, noting that the expansive menu caters to a variety of tastes. Another guest highlighted the freshness of the seafood and the flavourful beef, accompanied by unique sauces that elevate the dining experience: I concur with that, as you’ll see with what we dined on above.
However, as with any establishment, there are occasional critiques. Some patrons have mentioned that the extensive menu can be a bit overwhelming, but the knowledgeable staff are always on hand to provide recommendations and guide diners through the options. Overall, the consensus is that Pink Salt Danang offers a memorable dining experience that is well worth a visit: it’s seriously chic, modern Vietnam.

Pink Salt Danang Price
In terms of pricing, Pink Salt positions itself within the mid to high range, with meals typically costing between VND 309,500 and VND 2,063,200. While this may be considered a splurge for some, the quality of the ingredients, the skilful preparation, the stunning plating, the explosion of flavours, and the overall dining experience justify the expense. As it did for us this night.
Many patrons have expressed that the value for money is excellent, given the portion sizes and the calibre of the dishes served. I totally concur with this. We had a very special dinner for Jude Jude’s birthday, even having a name board for Jude Jude to personalise the experience further. It was worth every single Dong. Loved it.
Pink Salt Danang Menu Price
It’s not cheap for Vietnamese dining prices. Have a look at our Thia Go Restaurant Review, Michelin-starred, where the gang and I gorged ourselves and spent less than $30. At Pink Salt, you’re paying Singaporean food prices, and that’s OK because this is a top-end town, so very chic, and absolute quality. Happy dining days in Vietnam…
