Garlic Cheesy Bread Recipe

This was a belter. My garlic cheesy bread recipe.

A home made little recipe this.

Watch the video, but here we go for the recipe.

  • 2 baguette loaves;
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped garlic;
  • 1 slab of butter – make sure it’s salted;
  • Salt & pepper – a good pinch; and
  • Half a packet of grated parmesan.

So easy.

Quickly zap the butter in the microwave for 10 seconds, just to melt it down a bit.

Then in a bowl whack all the other ingredients with the melted butter. Get all the ingredients mixed nicely.Cut the bread lengthways about 3/4 through and then spoon the garlic cheese mix in evenly. Wrap the baguette in silver foil.

Last night I used a BBQ to cook, but you could do this in the oven. 5 minutes each side until the bread is browned and the ingredients are melted in to the bread.

I have to admit I did burn this, but after a scrape it turned out damn good

You just have to try this.

I had very good feedback regards to this – the best moist garlic bread I have ever had – was touted by Steve Rutherford.
