ChillaxBBQ Stay@Home Recipes #7 – Chocolate Almond Pancakes ‘v’ #1 with Maple Syrup, Salted Lemons & Fresh Apple Slices

ChillaxBBQ Stay@Home Recipes #7

Such a simple one today and another for Mr Bill Wallace as this again is really using up the odds and ends in the cupboards and fridge, adapting due to missing ingredients because of no deliveries, and using different styles to give variety to make the same breakfast concept extend to two days. This is ChillaxBBQ Stay@Home Recipes #7. Seriously so bloody easy it is not funny. But have a look first at the outcomes of 2 separate day breakfasts following the same theme, but with a twist on each day to give the kidlets variety.

Chocolate Almond Pancakes ‘v’ #2 with Honey and Salted Lemon. Again the sweet and sour combo to give a cracking taste all the way through breakfast.

So, Mr Bill Wallace here is a great example of – ‘it was all I had in the fridge and cupboards’. Strawberry Blonde wanted pancakes but we had no milk due to no delivery yet. But we did have some chocolate almond milk. We had some old pancake mix and some other bits in the fridge and cupboards. So with a twist of innovation, two new brekkie dishes were made. I tell you what, the chocolate milk idea was genius as the pancakes were superb with the additional flavour.

No recipe today for ChillaxBBQ Stay@Home Recipes #7 as it literally is a follow the instruction on the pancake mix, just using chocolate milk instead. Give the pan a little squirt with some oil 1st to non-stick it. In fact, you could use any flavoured milk like strawberry or banana. Drizzle over the chosen topping. The salted lemons are literally just a quarter lemon, de-pipped with some sea salt sprinkled over. This then creates a different flavour and texture experience. Makes the experience all new-like. So go on get the pancake mix out from the back of the cupboard, get the kid’s flavoured milk and create some new stuff. Banana Milk Pancakes ‘w’ Honey and Fresh Banana just popped in my head as another idea. Go for it, and – ENJOY!!!
