What an absolute gem this place, in the very cool foodie location of Telok Avery. Literally a spit from my work, but I have never been to see my mate Mark there before. But believe me folks it is now going to become a regular for me, and it’s getting a die die standard as Mark personal hand-crafts and serves and everything is truly amazing. You have to try Bakery and Bar, @ 112 Telok Ayer Street.
I am just updating this blog – few errors, my bad sorry Mark. But what happened last night was so insanely good, I have to call it out. Mark mentioned his home made pork pies, and would I like one. Is the Pope a Catholic mate. So verbal transaction done, I had to wait a couple of days. Mince needs a making, setting, cooking. Pastry needs making. Pie needs making. Pie needs cooling. Jelly needs pouring in. Jelly needs setting. Oh man this is going to be so so so good. And OMG it was – just have a look at this. I got home at midnight after having had a major chat and tasting session with mark, I could not wait and the first slice was a midnight snack. Best pork pie ever. Get yourself to Bakery and Bar, @ 112 Telok Ayer Street and get one yourself!!!
