THE PIZZA SHOWDOWN @ JAMIE’S ITALIAN #2
Off I go today to ‘teach’ the chef at Jamie’s Italian how to make my pizza, because as of Monday it is on the specials menu. Fame or Failure awaits. I took a few snaps of the morning before we had a delicious lunch there with me and all the gang. Yet another great experience at Jamie’s and I also managed to grab a few tips from the chef that worked with me this morning for Kilo Under Pressure ha ha. This my friends is The Pizza Showdown @ Jamie’s Italian #2.
I have to say, I’d buy that any day of the week. I think that looks DAMN good, and boy oh boy did he nail the taste. It was perfect. We worked on that together though, constantly tasting together. I loved the experience, so this truly was The Pizza Showdown @ Jamie’s Italian #2. It was quite funny as he had three takes before getting this one right and all the ingredients/portions he kept in his head – quite amazing actually. So will I see you there next week at Jamie’s Italian @ VivoCity? We’ll be there evening 28th for Amy’s birthday, come along if you can, and PLEASE order my pizza!!!
My entry and winning pizza of The Pizza Showdown @ Jamie’s Italian #2 is on the menu and specials board from Monday to Sunday. You have a whole week to consume it, lunch or dinner. Come on!!!
I had fun with this gun and VERY small worlds he used to be the Chef at Fleur’s restaurant on Swan Lake Road, but lets not go in to that in any more detail. Not happy memories for him.
Here she is in the oven, getting nice and crisped, with lovely melted cheese. Looking good so far, and of course above you see the finished article.
