I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tapas Club VivoCity, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff, who made me feel right at home. The restaurant itself has an inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the incredible hospitality of Jose Pacheco, the Head of Tapas Club. From the moment he introduced himself, it was clear that he was passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience. Jose’s attention to detail and genuine care for his guests was truly commendable.
Jose took the time to personally recommend some of the restaurant’s signature dishes and explained the ingredients and flavours behind each one. His knowledge and enthusiasm for Spanish cuisine were evident, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. He was also attentive throughout the evening, ensuring that everything was to my liking and that I had everything I needed, especially with respect to my personal hydration.
Tapas Club Food
The food itself was outstanding. Tapas Club offers a diverse menu of traditional Spanish tapas, and each dish showcased the authentic flavors and culinary techniques of Spain. The extremely simple sounding dish of Tomato on Toast (Pan Con Tomate) came in as an early recommended entrée and went down a treat, and was extremely flavourful!
The Ham Croquettes were like no other croquette I have tasted and that’s saying something! I never thought I’d say this but I can whole heartedly recommend that dish if you are passing by and feeling peckish, and the finally the Crispy Fried Squid (Calamares Fritos) were extremely fresh and still juicy to bite into, cooked to perfection. The presentation of each dish was also noteworthy, as they were as visually appealing as they were tasty, sadly I did not take any pictures of these dishes.
The service at Tapas Club VivoCity was top-notch. The waitstaff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They were quick to refill drinks, clear plates, and accommodate any special requests. The overall dining experience was seamless, thanks to the attentive and well-coordinated team.
