Kontiki Restaurant, 11 Rhu Cross
A beautiful day wandering around, and about Gardens by the Bay and the like, transposed in to a dinner at Kontiki Restaurant, 11 Rhu Cross. click to see the previous blog I wrote about this place. If only this had been open when we lived at Costa Rhu.
But it was not. So now, it is the occasional visitation, but a visit that is with welcome arms. This place is somewhere you HAVE to visit. The food is exceptional. Not cheap, but not too many $$. But you get what you pay for. And I tell you, the beef short ribs with bine marrow are worth the whole bill on their own.
They are just incredible together, a match made in heaven. One of the best dishes eaten by this gob so far. It is up there with โdie die must tryโ, and โdeath row mealsโ. Sublime!!! Here we go.
Time to Eat!!
Letโs be having that bowl of chili, something new and BOOM so so good!
BB goes for the seafood Aglio Olio, even though I donโt like seafood, it does look pretty stunning as a dish!
I cannot get enough of their โLove-Eat beef short ribsโ โ simply the best. An OMG moment every time you tuck in to this.
You CANNOT come here and not have the bone marrow with gravy โ itโs a KILLER dish!!!
Jude goes hard on the smokey BBQ pork ribs. Another BOOM dish!
Amy gets stuck in to the rack the lamb. How good is that. Superb lamb lollipops!
Letโs have more bone marrow please!
Bumping in to mates at the river side, just a beautiful meal with such fun too.
And to top it off a stunning sunset. Does it get any better?
Itโs a massive recommendation. Kontiki Restaurant, 11 Rhu Cross. You have to try it once, and I reckon, like us, youโll be a return and return visitor. It really is so good. Sat next to the river with beautiful scenery.
Filipino staff, attentive to your every whim and desire. Itโs just a perfect blend. We love it so so much, and I am going to give a guarantee that if you go you will 1000% โ ENJOY!!!
