Delicious Bar Snacks to Enjoy at Sospiri’s Rooftop Bar
Sospiri’s rooftop bar doesn’t just offer great drinks, but also a solid selection of bar snacks that perfectly complement the relaxed atmosphere. Here’s a rundown of some of the dishes we tried, perfect for pairing with your favourite cocktail or a glass of wine.
Starting with the Artichoke Fries with Cacio e Pepe Fonduta (S$16), a vegetarian option that hits the mark. The crispy artichoke fries, dipped in a creamy Cacio e Pepe fondue, brought a unique twist to the usual fries, with the cheese and pepper sauce adding just the right amount of richness.
The Bruschetta with Pizzutelli Tomatoes and Bottarga (S$16), a light and fresh dish that balanced the sweetness of the tomatoes with the briny intensity of the bottarga. It’s a great option if you’re after something vibrant and flavourful.
For something more traditional, try the Crispy Calamari with Amalfi Lemon (S$16). The calamari is perfectly cooked, with a nice crunch and a zesty kick from the Amalfi lemon. This one’s a classic bar snack that doesn’t disappoint.
Crab Croquette with Seaweed Salt (S$18). The crispy exterior gives way to a creamy crab filling, seasoned just enough with a hint of seaweed salt to elevate the dish without overpowering the delicate flavours of the crab.
If you’re after something indulgent, the Imperial Oscietra Caviar with Whipped Burrata and Focaccia is available in two sizes: 30g for S$88 or 125g for S$328. This luxurious snack pairs the richness of caviar with the creaminess of burrata, all spread on fresh focaccia – perfect for a special occasion or just treating yourself.
The Shoestring Fries with Calabrian Chili Crema (S$12) add a bit of heat to the mix, with the spicy crema giving the crispy fries a lively kick. It’s a simple snack but very well done, and it pairs well with most drinks.
Finally, the Smoked Buffalo Mozzarella Nuggets with Tomato Aioli (S$16) are not to be missed. The smoky flavour of the mozzarella shines through, and the tangy tomato aioli adds just the right touch to make these nuggets addictive.

Sospiri Set Lunch Review
The Sospiri Set Lunch offers a thoughtfully selected menu of Italian-inspired dishes, available from 9th to 13th September. The menu caters to various tastes and dietary preferences, with gluten-free and vegetarian options clearly marked. At a reasonable price of $38 for a three-course meal, it provides excellent value and variety.
To start, diners can choose between the fresh, vibrant Insalata di Finocchi, a crisp combination of fennel, rocket, and refreshing cucumber, or the richer Prosciutto e Fichi, where the sweetness of roasted figs pairs beautifully with the savoury depth of aged Parma ham, available with a small supplement. Alternatively, there’s the comforting Crema di Cipolloni, a creamy leek soup with the added texture of fried Roman artichokes.
For the main course, pasta lovers can enjoy the Fusilloni alla Sorrentina, a simple yet satisfying vegetarian dish featuring fusilloni pasta with San Marzano tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella.
Seafood enthusiasts may prefer the Dentice in Guazzetto, a grilled red snapper served with a crab bisque and violetta aubergine, offering a more refined option, though it does come with an additional charge. For something hearty and traditional, the Pollo alla Cacciatora delivers the familiar flavours of slow-cooked chicken with peppers and olives.
The meal finishes on a sweet note with Zuppa Inglese, a raspberry trifle that adds a light and refreshing touch to conclude the experience.
This menu shines for its seasonal ingredients, Mediterranean influences, and the ability to appeal to both casual diners and those seeking something a little more special, making it a perfect choice for a weekday lunch out. Be sure to check with the restaurant as the menu changes regularly.
What we ate at Sospiri
Sospiri Starters
At Sospiri, we began with two outstanding dishes. First up was the Burrata di Andria con la Vignarola (S$26), a delightful plate of creamy burrata cheese paired with a fresh salad of broad beans and artichokes. The richness of the burrata was perfectly balanced by the crisp vegetables.
Alongside, we enjoyed the Capocollo di Martina Franca (S$32), which featured Apulian cured ham served with warm olive pettole, an Italian fritter. The combination of the savoury cured ham and soft pettole made for an irresistible start to our meal.
Sospiri Main Courses
Picchiapò di Guancia
For the main course, we indulged in the Picchiapò di Guancia (S$38), a dish of tender wagyu beef cheek accompanied by truffled Roman gnocchi. The beef cheek was beautifully cooked and melt-in-your-mouth tender, while the gnocchi, infused with truffle, added a luxurious, earthy note to the dish.
Linguine di Gragnano Al Granchio
One of the standout dishes from the menu was the Linguine di Gragnano Al Granchio (S$38), featuring perfectly al dente linguine tossed with fresh crab, San Marzano tomatoes, and violetta eggplants. The sweetness of the crab paired beautifully with the rich, tangy flavour of the tomatoes, while the violetta eggplants added a subtle depth to the dish.
This seafood pasta was both light and flavourful, showcasing the essence of Southern Italian cuisine. It’s a must-try for anyone who loves a well-balanced seafood pasta with fresh, authentic ingredients.
Sospiri Dessert
We finished with a light and refreshing dessert, the Meringata alla Fragola (S$18), a layered Italian meringue semifreddo topped with fresh strawberries. It was the perfect sweet ending to an exceptional Italian dining experience at Sospiri.
