Spam, cheese, garlic & thousand island dressing breakfast

Oh yes. Lets ignore the heart attack. Lets get some breakfast on. Lets get some Spam, cheese, garlic & thousand island dressing breakfast on. This is a killer. Also so simple, your one year old could make this. I literally plated this upstairs for Mary and Amy and in about 2 minutes every single piece was gone. This is a MUST parents!!!

Spam, cheese, garlic & thousand island dressing breakfast
Does that look like spam to you? Would you? Go on I dare you, EAT IT!!!

I’ll do this in easy steps – it truly is a piece of p*ss recipe, with outstanding results, here comes Spam, cheese, garlic & thousand island dressing breakfast;

  1. Cut your tinned spam in to fingers;
  2. Finely chop some garlic; and
  3. Break up some course cheddar cheese.

In a hot pan, drizzle some oil and fry off the spam and garlic until nicely browned – 3 minutes or so. Off the heat and crumble over the course cheese. The heat of the spam will start to melt the cheese, that’s cool. Leave it alone.

In a small bowl squirt in about 4 teaspoons of tomato sauce and mayonnaise. Mix it up and there is your dipping sauce. Oh yeah baby – YUMMO!!! I guarantee you will like this. If you don’t – I’ll buy your next dinner with your loved one/s. It is incredible for something so bloody simple. A beauty.

Plate those puppies up together. Breakfast from heaven. My Spam, cheese, garlic & thousand island dressing breakfast. This is a CRACKER. A must for all, especially the kids. So easy, so tasty, so GONE in seconds – ENJOY!!!

Brian Kennett

Father of 3. All my kids are mixed, with English-Japanese, and English-Filipino - a recipe in the making there. I have been cooking since a small lad, as guided by my Nan and my Mum - gradually that morphed through exposure to Thai cooking from a lovely lady called Da in Margate. I used to hang out in her restaurant and watch the techniques. So the 1+1= greater than 2 occurred - Mum/Nan/Da - off I went in to the world of Asian cuisine. Moving to Asia in early 2000's clearly has brought that on somewhat - we travel continually, and eat locally and therefore have exposure to more and more new things. I have lived my dream and written a cook book whilst here, an amazing experience and all for a good cause too as I raised a lot of money for charity. My blog is now hopefully turning in to book number 2. Watch this space. I hope you enjoy my passion.
