(Brian doing a quick edit) Having just seen Despicable Me 4 with the kids this weekend, I sense a certain resemblance to someone… Just sayin’
The Fun Hostesses
CellarFiesta Main Entrance – Let’s Dive in as they say…..
CellarFiesta is Huge
Where to Begin? Let’s line the Stomach with Food first!
Papi’s Tacos
I just had to make a Pit Stop at our good friend Papi’s Tacos, after all, we did introduce Papi’s to the event! (if you want event invites like these drop us a line).
We tried the Beef and Pulpo Tacos with a couple of Cheeky Margaritas, why not!!! By they way, you have to try Papi’s Margaritas, some of the best on Red Dot: trust us!!!
I called Papi to let him know we were there, and he mentioned the opening of a new place and invited us down, its called Mami’s Tamales, check them out on Instagram @mamistamales and get your ass down there to support one of, if not the best tacos in town!
Kwazy Korndogs
Next up was not my usual Go to Choice but they were amazing! Kwazy Korndog offers a fun twist on traditional Korean corndogs by incorporating local flavors. Each bite combines familiar comfort with a touch of Singaporean charm, creating a unique and delightful snack experience that is hearty and satisfying. Find them on instagram @kwazykorndog!
I had the one at the front, it’s like a savoury but sweet doughnut covered in ketchup and mustard and a hotdog sausage at the centre covered in gooey cheese! As I said not my normal thing but boy was it good! 10/10 recommendation!
Two more places but sadly we did not try!
Booze, well that is why I came here in the first place right, let’s roll!
Where do I start, the place is packed with many of the Cellarbration brands they carry and several external distributors trying their luck! I am just going to throw a load of images into this blog and let you dig through them! FYI if I took a picture I tried a sample (or more) at each stall, well I did have a VIP pass after all! (Brian editing note: from this point on I have had to make more corrections to the Spencer content haha…)

Kalel Demetrio Liquido Maestro Creator of Ube Cream Liquer
Brian (Kenno) has been banging on about this purple drink he tried in the Philippines since last year, we pinged the Philippines Embassy to see when it was coming to Singapore and even they wanted it here faster so imagine my surprise when the two lovely ladies from Cellabration started promoting it on Instagram! So today was my time to try this and boy it did not disappoint!
So the original is a Purple Yam Liqueur! Think Baileys but 100 X Better, Yes I know what you are thinking, Purple Yam seriously? but it was really good! Not sure you can drink copious amounts but certainly makes for a great cocktail add on but drank chilled was incredible, Kenno was not lying! For some reason the song Purple Rain by Prince came into my head and I have not been able to get rid of it since so now I am giving it to you but sing Purple Yam instead! You are welcome!!
Then I noticed a picture Kalel Demetrio (Kenno’s new mate in the Philippines, since being recently Knighted he now only hangs with High Society) is here and so Kenno and I will be there at Mr. Stork at The Andaz on the evening of the 2nd (after the Rum Festival event (obviously) if you want our autographs!
They have 3 other products now, Gayuma Liqueur plus Kanto Popcorn Vodka & Kanto Salted Caramel, all available at Cellarbration!
Fieldbar – Not just a Regular Cool Box!
Now this piece of craftmanship is seriously up there in terms of quality and I am not even paid to promote this! Think LV meets Tiffany meets Eski! These bad boys are just shy of $300 and delivered by hand by Bron the lady running the local distribution of these!
Bit toppy for a cooler box I hear you say, well besides the stunning design and high quality workmanship this thing actually works, it keeps ice as ice for up to 50 hours! Yes over 2 days!
Check out their fancy Instagram account @fieldbar.co but if you want to actually buy one head off and find Bron on her Facebook page! Tell Bron Is Life a Recipe sent you and she will give you nothing off but it might make her giggle!
Anyway these are so good my mate Andre from Walker Enterprise bought one on the spot for the Ice Coffee events he does with De’Longhi who we are still waiting to buy us beers!
