The wife and I popped over early to East Village in Simpang Bedok for a proper coffee but everywhere was shut and so as we walked by Sek Bao Mei the owner Lawrence said good morning! After seeing our local coffee place was closed we doubled back to see what Sek Bao Mei had to offer and opted for a local Teh and a cheeky Bee Hoon for breakfast!
The food is pre-cooked and kept in a warmer but Lawrence offered to heat them up for us. I asked what chili was available and Lawrence said its from KL and a little spicy, I said no problem add more for me and boy did the chili not disappoint.
We added a Teh and Teh O Kosong to wash it down! The Bee Hoon comes on a stylish gold plate, so atas! The food went down too quickly to be honest! The Teh is strong and i mean in a good way! Other food options include some dim sum & kaya toast, see the menu below!
