Invited by a friend to join, I was immediately struck by the welcoming ambience of The Windsor Arms and a stunning picture of our Former Queen, thank you Your Majesty, we miss you!
Known for its quintessentially British charm, the venue combines a cosy atmosphere with attentive service. Alok, our server, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, adding a personal touch that made the experience all the more memorable.

The alternative option, the Roasted Christmas Pumpkin Soup, sounded equally tempting, especially with the addition of seared scallops and a savoury sourdough crouton.

For the main course, I chose the Overnight Braised Beef Rump, served with a drizzle of truffle oil. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the earthy truffle aroma elevated the dish to something truly special.
Accompanying the beef were potato mash, heirloom carrots, and sage-roasted butternut squash, creating a wholesome and satisfying plate. The Traditional Roasted Turkey, with all the classic trimmings like stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a medley of roasted vegetables, was another standout option for those craving a festive favourite.
