Picnic Simpang Bedok is the newest addition to Bedok Shopping Complex. This simple café has taken over the old Supa Deck space (who have moved further along to a bigger place) and brings a fresh food option to the Simpang Bedok area.
Inside, you'll find a simple but nice setup with wooden furniture and teal chairs that make for a relaxed eating spot. The café's sign shows the name "PICNIC" with a bicycle and green tree logo, along with the words "refreshed journey."
The menu mixes both Asian and Western food options. For breakfast, they serve Kaya Butter Toast, Half-Boiled Eggs, Porridge, and their Sunrise Stack with ham and eggs. Later in the day, you can choose from dishes like Fried Rice with Chicken, Prawn Paste Pasta, and Ribeye Steak if you're extra hungry.

Picnic Simpang Bedok Menu - Variety of options from breakfast to mains
One of the more interesting things on the menu is their Sukiyaki & Oden Sets. These come with rice or udon noodles and include cabbage, mushrooms, and noodles. You can also add beef if you want. There are four different soup bases to choose from: Classic, Sesame and Soymilk, Kimchi, and Kanto—all for $11.90.
Right now, they offer basic Nanyang Coffee and Tea starting at just $2.20. The good news is they're planning to get a better coffee machine soon, which will be great for coffee lovers who visit in the mornings! 😊
If you're in the area, Picnic is right next door to Flippin Good, a Halal pancake shop, so you have options if you're eating with friends.

There are also some snacks good for sharing like Shaker Fries, Onion Rings, Chicken Wings, and Calamari. If you want something a bit healthier, they have Rice & Salad Bowls options such as Quinoa Salad and Fish Roe Mix Bowl for $9.90 each.
For something sweet, they currently only have Ice Cream Cones in Strawberry or Matcha flavours for $1.20. We're hoping they'll add more dessert choices in the future.
Picnic is open from 8:30am to 10:30pm, so it works for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a snack. Once they get that better coffee machine they're planning for, it'll be a great spot for morning coffee! 😊
