Pantalones Organic Tequila Cocktail: Burnt Orange Britches
Organic Tequila Pantalones Cocktails: So, a very good mate of mine has started working for an individual who has a strong interest in this company and many other brands and films associated. So I am following all the products, including interesting launches like this one of Pantalones Organic Tequila and this rather incredible cocktail: Burnt Orange Britches.
Perfect for our Cocktail Page I thought as it is a beauty, using fancy tequila, organic tequila and a great brand name to boot, because Pantalones in English is PANTS!!!

Pantalones Organic Tequila Cocktail: Burnt Orange Britches Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Pantalones Organic Añejo Tequila,
- ¾ oz Blood Orange Juice,
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice,
- 1/4 oz Agave Syrup,
- 1 egg white,
- Garnish: bitters + burnt blood orange slice
Pantalones Organic Tequila Cocktail: Burnt Orange Britches Instructions
Add ingredients into a shaker – Pantalones Organic Añejo Tequila, blood orange juice, lemon juice, agave syrup, and egg white and dry shake (no ice). Add ice to the shaker and shake again. Strain into a glass. Garnish with 3 drops of bitters and a burnt blood orange slice.
For the burnt blood orange slice, place orange slices on a sheet pan; sprinkle with sugar. Heat your oven to 180 degrees, place the sheet pan in the oven, and bake until the sugar is caramelized.
Pantalones Tequila
Pantalones Tequila is a premium tequila brand co-founded by actor Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila. This tequila is known for its Mexican agave-forward flavor profile, smoothness, and versatility in cocktails. The brand offers different varieties, including Pantalones Tequila Blanco (clear tequila – usually filtered through charcoal multiple times), Reposado, and Añejo, each with its unique characteristics.
Pantalones in english literally means pants, and yeah if you watch the quirky launch video above you’ll see the two founders on cool motorbikes in only pants clinking glasses of clear tequila, well at the very least it’s some fancy tequila organic of course).
Pantalones Tequila is produced at the Tequilera Tap in Amatitan, Jalisco, Mexico the same distillery where other renowned tequila brands like Tres Agaves are made. As we shared, the name Pantalones in English translates from Spanish to “pants,” and the brand incorporates this playful element in its marketing, such as a humorous advertisement featuring the founding couple riding motorcycles sans pants.
When Pantalones Tequila comes to Asia I will absolutely be getting my hands on a bottle to test my early stage Tequila and Mezcal certifications (remember me and the Mexican Ambassador for Singapore, when he signed my training certification: see below?) and giving a tasting review for you. Hey, maybe I’ll even create a Chillax Bar BQ Cocktail from Organic Clear Tequila for my place in the Philippines.
