Chimichanga Little India Celebrates Its Beginnings with Special Promotions and New Menu Additions

31 August 2024 – Home-grown Mexican restaurant brand, Chimichanga is delighted to announce the celebration of its 8th anniversary this September. To mark this significant milestone, they are inviting everyone to join the festivities at their Little India outlet on September 5th, where it all began.

Since opening their first location in Little India eight years ago, Chimichanga has been at the heart of vibrant gatherings, delicious food and memorable experiences. Today, the brand has grown to six locations islandwide. As a token of appreciation for the loyal support over the years, Chimichanga is offering a special promotion that will delight steak lovers.

From September 5th to 30th, customers can indulge in a 200 Day grain-fed Ribeye, Tajín-spiced and crusted, accompanied by a velvety mustard-lime salsa and papas majada, starting at just $8.80 per 100g (minimum order of 200g). That’s not all—order this special and enjoy a complimentary set of miniature El Yucateco hot sauce bottles, courtesy of their partner, Little Jars.

In addition to the anniversary festivities, customers can look forward to tantalising new additions to the Little India menu, including Breaded Oysters, as well as refreshing new drinks like Horchatas, Aguas Frescas and an expanded variety of margarita flavours.

About Chimichanga

Chimichanga was established in 2016 when it opened its first outpost in Little India, making them one of the first casual Sing-Mex restaurants to burst into the scene. They are known for their unique, Singapore inspired take on traditional Mexican cuisine, infusing elements of Mexican spices and flavours into their cooking but catering to the Singaporean palate, which they define as “Sing-Mex”.

Following the success of Chimichanga Little India, they launched sister brand, Chimi’s at Marina Bay in 2018. As demand grew, they welcomed Chimichanga Holland Village in 2020. 2022 was a big year for the brands with Chimi’s Somerset opening in March and Chimichanga Paya Lebar in November. The latest and largest outlet to date, Chimichanga VivoCity was launched in January 2024.
